Over 7,000 samples of war martyrs’remains transported to Hanoi for DNA identification
The samples, strictly sealed and packed in 100 specialised containers, will be covered with the national flag and transported by a CASA-295 military transport aircraft operated by Brigade 918 of the Air Defence – Air Force Service from Tan Son Nhat Airport to Gia Lam Military Airport in Hanoi.

After several days of digging through layers of soil at the old Ca Cai cemetery, Team K91 (Political Department, Dong Thap Provincial Military Command) found 42 remains of fallen soldiers along with many artifacts.

On the afternoon of August 13th, Mr. Giàng Quốc Hưng, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lào Cai province and Head of the Steering Committee for the search, collection, and identification of the remains of martyrs in the province, chaired a meeting of the Steering Committee to evaluate the results of phase 1 of the "500-day campaign to intensify the search, collection, and identification of the remains of martyrs" in the province.
