The Standing Committee of the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee pays tribute to meritorious individuals in various localities
On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), the Party Committee and Standing Committee of the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee visited, encouraged, and presented gifts to war invalids and families of policy beneficiaries, and offered incense and flowers to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at the Martyrs' Cemeteries.
A delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Committee Dinh Cong Sy visited and presented gifts to former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Lieutenant General Huynh Ngoc Son, in Da Nang city.
On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs, the delegation wished former Vice Chairman of National Assembly, Lieutenant General Huynh Ngoc Son, good health; and hoped that the former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly would continue to pay attention to and support the activities of the Committee so that they could become increasingly effective.
Next, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong; expressing deep gratitude for the contributions of the former Vice Chairman's family; and hoping that the former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly would continue to contribute his experience and offer many opinions to the Committee in lawmaking, supervision, and advising the National Assembly and the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on decisions regarding national defense, security, and foreign affairs.
In Hanoi, the delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Committee Nguyen Quoc Hung visited former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, General Do Bay Ty.
The delegation expressed deep gratitude for the contributions of former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Ba Ty to the activities of the National Assembly and the Committee on National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs; and hoped that the former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly would continue to contribute many valuable opinions to help the Committee successfully complete its tasks during the 16th National Assembly term, effectively contributing to the activities of the National Assembly as well as the development of the country in the new era.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Committee Nguyen Minh Duc offered incense and flowers to commemorate and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs' Cemetery.
On this occasion, the delegation visited the family of the Chairman of the Committee on National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs, Lieutenant General Le Tan Toi, to offer incense and pay tribute to the martyrs.
In Hanoi and Hai Phong City, the Committee's working groups visited the families, offered incense in remembrance, and paid tribute to the heroic martyrs in the families of Deputy Chairman of the Committee Nguyen Minh Duc and Deputy Chairman of the Committee Nguyen Quoc Hung.
In Quang Tri, the delegation offered incense and flowers to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at the Highway 9 Martyrs' Cemetery and the Quang Tri Citadel.
