Nguyen Thi Ngoc Mai, an overseas Vietnamese living in Malaysia for 12 years, said that the association has always taken care of the health and spiritual life of OVs through many practical programmes such as providing legal consultancy and organising the Spring Festival or Full Moon Festival.

Currently, there are more than 30,000 Vietnamese people living, studying and working in Malaysia, statistics showed. The Vietnamese community here has made important contributions to the local economy, connecting and supporting each other, preserving Vietnamese culture and participating in community and social activities./.
