At the launch ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ho Van Mung called on agencies, organisations and community to contribute to the work, striving to complete it by the end of 2025.
Over the past time, the province has carried out harmonious and effective policies for people who rendered service to the nation as well as those on poverty alleviation. The “for the poor – no one left behind” campaign has particularly received enthusiastic response from the local people, helping improve the spiritual and material life and ensure social welfare.
Mung highlighted that despite robust economic growth in 2024, the province is facing formidable social challenges, with more than 24,000 poor and near-poor households, more than 3,700 families living in substandard houses, and nearly 24,400 impoverished ones need support for the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) Holiday./.
