The “7 Months, 7 Wonders Summer Festivals” concept includes themed events such as the Maha Songkran World Water Festival 2025, a large-scale celebration of Thailand’s UNESCO-listed Songkran traditions from April 11 to 15 at Sanam Luang in Bangkok. Other festival categories include Pride celebrations, cultural showcases, music festivals, sports events, food festivals, and creative arts exhibitions. These events will be held nationwide, ensuring tourism benefits extend to major cities and emerging destinations.

The campaign involves collaborations with international event organizers to elevate local festivals into globally recognized attractions. Large-scale music festivals, culinary showcases, and sporting events will further establish Thailand as a top destination for entertainment, culture, and leisure tourism. Officials anticipate the campaign will draw millions of domestic and international visitors, boosting tourism demand and bringing economic benefits to local communities.

With tourism accounting for over 14% of Thailand’s GDP, the government is now focusing on infrastructure development and long-term strategies to support sustainable industry growth. The Thailand Summer Festivals are projected to generate 3.5 trillion THB (100 billion USD) in tourism revenue./.
