The session, chaired by NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man, is broadcast live on Vietnam Television, radio The Voice of Vietnam, and NA Television channels.

NA Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Hai directed lawmakers to analyse reports from the Government and NA bodies, with a particular focus on measures to stabilise the macro-economy and key economic balances. These measures include controlling inflation, exchange rates, and the prices of essential goods to ensure stable livelihoods for citizens and smooth business operation. Achieving the annual growth target remains a significant objective.

He further emphasised the need for solutions to improve the monetary, real estate, and securities markets. Additionally, discussions are focused on reviving production and business activities, creating jobs and reducing unemployment, addressing bottlenecks hindering labour productivity, and restructuring credit institutions burdened by bad debts. Equitisation and divestment of State capital from enterprises, along with reduced lending rates, are also identified as crucial steps to enhance the economy's capacity to absorb capital.

Regarding the national targets for gender equality, as well as efforts to promote thrift and combat wastefulness in 2023, Hai requested assessments of achievements, shortcomings, root causes, and solutions.

Ministers and sectoral heads will address the concerns raised by the deputies, Hai concluded./.
