This is the first time an electric car (EV) brand has led the market and continued to show strong growth, marking a new milestone for Vietnam's automotive industry.

The EV models during September’s delivery include VF e34, VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9.

VinFast's sales of more than 9,300 cars has contributed to accelerating the green transition, positioning Vietnam as one of the few countries in the world where EVs are outperforming petrol-powered cars.

Vu Anh Tuan, CEO of VinFast Vietnam, emphasised that with the strong support of customers, the company will fulfill its plan for 2024, thereby making VinFast one of the best-selling car brands this year.

Currently, the automaker is deploying a programme aimed at calling on the entire community to join hands to develop the Vietnamese EV brand, contributing to promoting the green transition process.
