Reference exchange rate adjusted down on October 30

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,246 VND/USD on October 30, down 6 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,458 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,034 VND/USD.

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,246 VND/USD on October 30, down 6 VND from the previous day.

At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates saw decreases.

At 8:27am, Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 25,158 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,458 VND/USD, both down 36 VND from October 29./.
