NA Standing Committee debates revisions to real estate business law
Chairman Man said the amendment of the Law on Real Estate Business must move in lockstep with a clean-up of rules governing land, housing, investment, planning, construction and finance. The amendments, he said, must fully codify principles laid out in the Party Central Committee’s third plenum resolution on land-law reform while making the legal framework coherent, free of overlap and more enforceable.

National teleconference disseminates resolutions of 14th Party Central Committee’s third session
According to the agenda, participants are expected to study a series of resolutions and conclusions adopted at the third plenum. These cover key strategic issues, including renewing Vietnam’s development model; building and developing the country into a strong sea-based nation; fostering a disciplined, safe, civilised, harmonious and developed society; and the National Security Strategy.
Seven policy groups proposed for amendments to Land Law
Minister of Agriculture and Environment Trinh Viet Hung said the Government had approved seven policy orientations for revising the law, focusing on planning, land allocation, compensation, land pricing, land use rights, administrative reform and stronger oversight.

The resolutions include those on the approval of the final settlement of the 2024 State budget, and on the NA’s supervision programme for 2027 and on the establishment of the NA’s thematic supervision delegation for 2027, the NA resolution on the development of Vietnamese culture and another on piloting the public lawyer system, the resolution on the establishment of Dong Nai city as a centrally governed city, and the NA resolution on special mechanisms and policies to handle land law violations committed by organisations and individuals before the 2024 Land Law took effect, along with solutions to continue removing obstacles for long-delayed and outstanding projects.
