Hue City ready for National Election Day

Following consultation rounds, Hue has finalised a list of 17 candidates for the National Assembly, including three nominated by central agencies, 89 candidates for the city People’s Council, and 1,343 candidates for commune- and ward-level People’s Councils.

According to Resolution No. 151/NQ-HĐBCQG dated February 14, 2026, which announced the official list of candidates for the 16th National Assembly by constituency nationwide, Hue City has 4 constituencies, electing 9 National Assembly representatives from 17 candidates.

On the afternoon of February 12th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City held its third consultative conference to select and compile a list of qualified candidates for the 16th National Assembly and the Hue City People's Council for the 2026-2031 term.
