National teleconference disseminates resolutions of 14th Party Central Committee’s third session
According to the agenda, participants are expected to study a series of resolutions and conclusions adopted at the third plenum. These cover key strategic issues, including renewing Vietnam’s development model; building and developing the country into a strong sea-based nation; fostering a disciplined, safe, civilised, harmonious and developed society; and the National Security Strategy.

During the morning session, chaired by Party General Secretary and State President To Lam, delegates discussed four agenda items, including a draft regulation of the 14th Party Central Committee on matters prohibited for Party members, which will replace Regulation No. 37-QD/TW dated October 25, 2021, issued by the 13th Party Central Committee.

Party General Secretary To Lam commended the Government, ministries, local authorities, the business community, and the people at home and abroad for their concerted efforts and achievements in 2025 and throughout the 2021–2025 period. At the same time, he stressed the need to frankly acknowledge persistent shortcomings and newly emerging challenges, many of which reflect deep-rooted structural bottlenecks in the development model and national governance system.
