NA leader’s trip marks new milestone in Vietnam’s relations with Senegal, Morocco, Switzerland: Deputy FM
Both Senegal and Morocco view their relations with Vietnam as a model in South – South and Asia – Africa cooperation, and voiced hope to expand all-round ties with Vietnam in the future. Meanwhile, Switzerland voiced its support for resuming negotiations on an FTA between Vietnam and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA).

Senegalese President views top Vietnamese legislator’s visit an important milestone
Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man had a meeting in Dakar on July 23 afternoon (local time) with Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, who affirmed that the first visit by a key Vietnamese leader since the establishment of diplomatic ties marks an important milestone in further promoting the good relationship between the two countries.

Both countries have shown their special interest and clear determination in promoting bilateral relations to a new height. Therefore, the visit will not only deepen legislative ties but also serve as a catalyst to advance cooperation in various areas, including trade, agriculture, science and technology, and people-to-people exchanges.
