Xi Jinping said the visit has further enhanced his confidence in Vietnam’s continued prosperity and the happiness of its people, and reaffirmed his belief that the traditional friendship between China and Vietnam will continue to grow stronger and endure for generations to come.

The activities included a Vietnam-China people’s friendly meeting, the launch of the “Red Journey: Youth’s researches and studies,” the inauguration of a new Vietnam–China railway cooperation mechanism, and a photo exhibition celebrating 75 years of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

In addition, the province boasts four intangible cultural heritages recognised by UNESCO as world heritage, including Quan ho (love duet) folk singing, Ca tru (ceremonial singing), Huu Chap tug-of-war ritual and game, and the worship of the Mother Goddesses of the Three Realms.

He said that the Party Central Committee reached broad agreement on proposals concerning the continued restructuring of the political system’s organisational apparatus, rearranging administrative units and organising local administrations with provincial and communal levels.

The Party Central Committee will also review key decisions made by the Politburo and Secretariat since the 10th plenum, alongside thematic reports on institutional perfection and strategic breakthroughs in science-technology development, innovation, and national digital transformation.

Ahead of the visit, the Spanish PM hailed Vietnam as a magnet for foreign investment, noting that Spanish companies and leaders in infrastructure and renewable energy sectors stand to push important business opportunities in Vietnam on the back of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement.

Man said that despite many difficulties and challenges from the impacts of the world and regional political and economic situation, under the leadership of the Party and the solidarity and consensus of the entire political system, Vietnam has achieved important results in socio-economic development.
