NA passes law amending 10 laws concerning agriculture, environment
The 10 laws amended cover crop production, plant protection and quarantine, animal husbandry, animal health, fisheries, geology and minerals, water resources, irrigation, meteorology and hydrology, and dikes.
NA approves revised law to modernise legal education
With 466 of 475 participating deputies voting in favour, or 93.20%, the NA passed the revised Law on Dissemination and Education of Law, which will take effect on March 1, 2027.

According to Government proposals submitted to the legislature, Quang Ninh and Bac Ninh cities will be formed based on the respective natural areas, populations and numbers of commune-level administrative units of the two provinces. Both proposals meet all five conditions stipulated in the Law on Organisation of Local Administration No. 72/2025/QH15 and all seven criteria for establishing centrally-run cities under Resolution No. 112/2025/UBTVQH15.
