Legislature approves 30% income tax cut for small enterprises, business households
The resolution, comprising two articles, provides for a 30% reduction in personal and corporate income tax for the 2026-2027 tax periods for individuals, business households and enterprises with annual revenue of no more than 10 billion VND (381,000 USD).

Lawmakers debate real estate, budget, nuclear project changes
The draft revised real estate law is intended to turn Party and State guidelines into statute, codify tested resolutions that have been tested in practice, and shift power under the two-tier local administration model. The current taxable revenue threshold of 500 million VND (19,000 USD) per year is no longer aligned with reality. Based on projected per capita GDP levels of approximately 125.5 million VND in 2025 and 128–130 million VND in 2026, the existing threshold represents only about four times per capita income, significantly lower than the 8–15 times range commonly observed in comparable economies.
