Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on September 1 requested the central city of Da Nang to well implement three pioneering tasks to achieve balanced, rapid, and sustainable development.

Building on the great achievements over the past five decades since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1973, the two leaders agreed to upgrade the bilateral relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
