Passenger traffic at Noi Bai airport projected to rise 11% during National Day holiday

The Noi Bai International Airport (NIA) in Hanoi is expected to welcome about 338,000 passengers and 2,100 flights during this year's National Day holiday from August 31 to September 3, up 11% compared to normal days.

During this period, the peak day (September 3) is forecast to cater to more than 96,000 passengers, including nearly 35,000 foreigners and over 61,000 domestic visitors, and 238 international flights and 331 domestic ones. 

Following directive from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, the airport will implement enhanced aviation security measures at Level 1, and proactively prepare for peak service during the National Day holiday.
