PM requests swift, bold action to build schools in border communes

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested all ministries, agencies and localities to perform the programme to build schools in land border communes with “high determination, great effort, and focused and effective action".

Building schools is not only to create better learning conditions for students, but also to pursue a long-term goal of improving the quality of life for people living along the border, thereby contributing to safeguarding national territorial sovereignty at its roots - through the people and the communities that are closely tied to the land, the forests, and the border lines and markers.
NA resolutions on tuition and agricultural land tax exemption, universal preschool education passed

The resolution on tuition exemption and support in the national education system was approved with 440 out of 441 deputies present voting in favour. It takes effect from the date of its adoption and will be applied starting from the 2025–2026 academic year.
