Quang Ninh announces 15 candidates for 16th National Assembly elections
Under Resolution No. 151/NQ-HĐBCQG dated February 14, 2026, officially announcing the list of candidates for deputies to the 16th National Assembly, Quang Ninh Province has 15 candidates standing for election to fill nine seats in the legislature.
The detailed list by electoral unit is as follows:
Electoral Unit No. 1
Includes the wards of An Sinh, Dong Trieu, Mao Khe, Binh Khe, Hoang Que, Yen Tu, Vang Danh, Uong Bi, Hiep Hoa, Quang Yen, Lien Hoa, Phong Coc, Ha An, and Dong Mai.

Number of candidates: 5
Dang Thi Minh - Contract employee (Decree 111), Office of the Party Committee of Luong Minh Commune, Quang Ninh Province.
Cam Thi Nong - Specialist, Party Building Commission, Party Committee of Luc Hon Commune, Quang Ninh Province.
Dang Xuan Phuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the National Assembly; Vice Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee for Culture and Social Affairs.
Luong Cong Quyet (Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet) - Vice Chairman of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha; Head of the Central Buddhist Education Committee; Rector of the Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Hanoi; Head of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Quang Ninh Province.
Chu Luong Tri - Lecturer, Faculty of Environment, Ha Long University, Quang Ninh Province.

Quan Minh Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee; Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee; Head of the Quang Ninh National Assembly Deputies Delegation; Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee; Member of the National Assembly’s Committee for National Defense, Security and External Relations.
Vu Ngoc Lam - Deputy Director of the Quang Ninh Department of Finance.
Tran Thi Kim Nhung - Full-time National Assembly deputy serving on the National Assembly’s Committee for Law and Justice.
