Young voters are enthusiastic and responsible ahead of this big day

Looking ahead to the election of representatives to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, students of Tay Nguyen University are eagerly awaiting to cast their ballots and exercise their rights and civic duties.

Nguyen Quang Cuong, a student in the Faculty of Economics, is one of many young people voting for the first time. Beyond mere excitement, Cuong proactively researched the biographies and action programs of the candidates.

Cường shared: “I hope to elect people who are virtuous and talented enough to contribute to the development of the country. As a student, I hope that the elected delegates will pay more practical attention to the field of education".

Tay Nguyen University is currently polling station number 26, under polling station number 3 of the Ea Kao ward election committee, with 4,491 voters participating. The majority of voters are students; this is a young, dynamic force with the advantage of quick access to information through digital platforms and social media.

Recognizing this as a major potical event, the Party Committee and the School Board actively implemented propaganda work through various forms, from integrating the content into class activities to organizing specialized conferences. In particular, the school also encouraged students to participate in an online competition on election knowledge organized by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department to raise legal awareness among young people.

In addition, leveraging the advantages of technology, digital communication channels such as websites, Fanpages, Zalo study groups, and LED screens on campus were all utilized to disseminate information related to the election.

According to Anh Y Cuôr B'Krông, Secretary of the Youth Union of Tay Nguyen University, the Youth Union and Student Association of the university have implemented many propaganda activities on social media platforms such as the fanpages of the Youth Union and Student Association.

In addition, video clips guiding students through the election process, voting times and locations at the school, as well as the rights and responsibilities of voters, were widely disseminated to students. Furthermore, the Youth Union organizations at the school also organized political activities at the faculty and branch levels to instill in each member the civic responsibilities of students before the major election.

Dr. Le The Phiệt, Vice Rector of Tay Nguyen University and Head of Polling Station No. 26 under Election Committee No. 3 of Ea Kao Ward Election Committee, stated: "At this point, preparations are basically complete. From posting voter and candidate lists to distributing voter cards and preparing election equipment, everything has been done meticulously."

With this thorough preparation, students of Tay Nguyen University are ready for March 15th with a sense of responsibility, demonstrating the role of the younger generation in the future of the locality and the country.
