218 polling stations nationwide will conduct early voting

Following a request from the election committees of 11 provinces and cities, the National Election Council has issued a document allowing 218 polling stations across these provinces and cities to conduct early voting.

Reporting at the nationwide online conference on the implementation of the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term on the morning of February 26th, Central Committee member, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office, and Chief of the National Election Council Office, Le Quang Manh, stated that to date, election preparations have been implemented proactively and systematically, in accordance with the requirements of the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the National Election Council. The issuance of guiding documents has been carried out early and synchronously; the application of information technology and digital transformation in election work has been promoted, especially in the preparation, review, and posting of voter lists.

According to National Assembly Secretary General Le Quang Manh, following a request from the election committees of 11 provinces and cities, the National Election Council has issued a document allowing 218 polling stations in these provinces and cities to conduct early voting.
