The nomination, consultation, and list compilation process is carried out rigorously through multiple steps, ensuring fairness, democracy, and high quality in terms of professional qualifications and social prestige.
Commenting on this year's list of candidates, Mr. Tran Trong Lan, a member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province, said: "These are reputable individuals with qualifications and capabilities, representing the voice of the people in deciding important national and local issues in this new development phase."
Mr. Lanh The Vinh, a member of the Quang Ninh Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, stated that the composition of the organization has shown significant progress, aligning with the characteristics of a dynamic locality like Quang Ninh. These are exemplary individuals with the capacity to represent the voice of the people.
Publicly listing and transparently providing voter information
According to regulations, February 27th is the final deadline for polling stations to complete the posting of the official list and brief biographies of candidates at polling stations. At these posting points, the information is presented in a clear and organized manner to allow voters to easily study, compare, and make informed decisions. Simultaneously with the posting of the candidate list, the review and posting of the voter list is also being carried out urgently.

In Uong Bi ward, one of the key localities, this work was carried out meticulously. Uong Bi ward recorded 41,094 voters participating in the election. This list was publicly displayed at polling stations with specific duty hours (from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM and from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM) so that people could check their personal information and promptly report any errors.
At polling station number 30 in Uong Bi ward, where the Vietnam-Sweden Hospital is located, due to the unique situation of having many transient voters who are patients and their family members, the election committee coordinated closely with the hospital to finalize the voter list close to election day to ensure absolute accuracy. The local authorities planned to use mobile ballot boxes to deliver to the hospital beds for voters who could not travel. This not only ensured compliance with the law but also demonstrated respect for citizens' rights, giving all citizens the opportunity to exercise their right to vote, even in special circumstances.
Observations at residential areas throughout Quang Ninh province show a vibrant atmosphere in preparation for election day. Voters express great confidence and high expectations for the candidates.
Mr. Le Van Binh (Yiet Kieu 4 area, Hong Gai ward) shared that the people are very eager for election day to elect representatives with sufficient virtue and talent to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, in order to build a more prosperous and better life for the people.
According to Nguyen Van Thanh, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Uong Bi Ward, the ward is stepping up propaganda efforts for the election of National Assembly representatives and People's Council representatives at all levels; focusing on reviewing voter lists and preparing the best possible facilities, and developing plans to ensure security and order at polling stations. At the same time, the locality is preparing to organize voter outreach meetings for candidates to present their action programs, creating a direct connection with the people.
With thorough and systematic preparation and high consensus from the people, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and representatives to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term in Quang Ninh promises to be a great success, truly becoming a festival for the entire nation.
