The Pan Borneo Highway is expected to play a key role in strengthening regional connectivity and creating greater opportunities for tourism and broader economic collaboration upon its completion, the leaders said in a joint statement.

In the energy sector, the two leaders expressed satisfaction in the close collaboration and encouraged both sides to advance joint projects.

According to Malaysia’s national news agency Bernama, in a joint statement, the two sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in agriculture, coordinating immigration management, alongside efforts to enhance food security and border management.
