Vietnam’s National Day celebrated in Thailand, Japan, Brazil
Vietnamese Consul General in Khon Kaen Dinh Hoang Linh noted that building upon the friendship and cooperation over the past five decades, and with continuously strengthened political trust, the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Thailand will keep growing substantively, serving the interests of both peoples and standing as a model of development cooperation within ASEAN.

US Ambassador highlights roadmap for concrete outcomes in Vietnam–US Comprehensive Strategic Partnership
Vietnam and the US have begun discussions on a roadmap to translate their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership into concrete and measurable outcomes across a broad range of areas, US Ambassador to Vietnam Jennifer Wicks said at a press roundtable in Hanoi on August 28.

Addressing the event, Vietnamese Consul General to New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia Nguyen Thanh Tung recalled Vietnam’s 81-year journey of national defence and development, stressing that after 40 years of Doi moi, the country has emerged as a peaceful and dynamic nation. He attributed these achievements partly to friendship and cooperation with the international community, with Australia being an important partner and friend.
