Ngoc Ha ward voters unanimously endorse 16th National Assembly candidates at residential meetings
Voters in Ngoc Ha Ward on February 4 unanimously endorsed four candidates for the 16th National Assembly at a meeting to collect comments and confidence votes at their place of residence, organized by the ward’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in coordination with local authorities.

The candidates included Vu Hai Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the National Assembly and a member of the National Assembly Standing Committee; Tran Van Khai, Deputy Chair of the Committee for Science, Technology and Environment; Nguyen Ngoc Hung, Director General of the Committee for Petitions and Supervision; and Luu Quang Huy, Director of the Hanoi Institute of Construction Planning.

Voters expressed strong consensus, saying the candidates were politically steadfast, experienced, close to the people, and fully qualified to serve as National Assembly deputies for the 2026–2031 term. All voters present voted in favor of introducing the four candidates.

Speaking on behalf of the candidates, Tran Van Khai thanked voters for their support and pledged to uphold responsibility, maintain close contact with constituents, and actively contribute to lawmaking and policy development.

Earlier the same day, voters in Thanh Xuan Ward also unanimously endorsed Tran Hoai Nam, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Party Committee of the National Assembly, as a candidate for the 16th National Assembly at a similar residential meeting.
