Lawmakers clear full agenda at first extraordinary session: NA Secretary General
More than 2,000 opinions were delivered in group discussions and plenary sessions. They were frank and substantive, closely grounded in practical realities, and focused on clearing obstacles, with specific, practical and feasible amendments proposed for the draft laws and resolutions submitted to the session.
NA passes laws on defence, security and State compensation
With 473 of 474 participating deputies voting in favour, or 94.6%, the NA passed the Law on Prevention and Combating the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction. The 36-article law, comprising four chapters, will take effect on July 1, 2027.
