At the same time, Indonesia pledged to cut red tape, creating favourable conditions for foreign investors to enter the market.

Indonesian Government data shows that in the first nine months of 2024, US investors injected 2.8 billion USD into Indonesia, making the US the fourth largest source of foreign direct investment (FDI) in the country during this period, behind China with nearly 5.8 billion USD./.
