Dak Lak: Candidates for the 16th National Assembly meet with voters in Ea Kao ward
A meeting between voters and candidates for the 16th National Assembly, term 2026-2031, from Electoral District No. 3 was held in Ea Kao ward.
Attending the conference were Mr. Le Ba Canh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; candidates for the 16th National Assembly in Constituency No. 3; and a large number of voters from Ea Kao ward.

At the conference, representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province announced the brief biographies of the candidates for the 16th National Assembly in Constituency No. 3, including: Mr. Y Bhen Kđoh, singer and actress, Ethnic Dance and Music Troupe, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province; Ms. H' Niăp Niê, reporter and editor, Publishing and Propaganda Department, Film Distribution and Screening Center, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province; Ms. Lê Thị Ngọc Sương, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee, Member of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; Mr. Ngô Trung Thành, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Law and Justice Committee; and Ms. Lê Thị Thanh Xuân, Provincial Party Committee member, Party Secretary, and Director of the Department of Education and Training of the province.

Presenting their action programs to voters, the candidates expressed their honor at being trusted and nominated by the Politburo , the National Election Council, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and voters in their workplaces and places of residence to run for election in the 16th National Assembly, and assigned to run in Dak Lak province.

In their respective roles, each candidate clearly defines their responsibilities and, if entrusted by the voters, will strive to fulfill their role as representatives of the people's will and aspirations.

Key areas emphasized include: actively participating in the development and improvement of the legal system; focusing on policies for ethnic minority communities, women, children, and vulnerable groups; promoting sustainable economic development linked to environmental protection; preserving and promoting ethnic cultural identity; and developing mechanisms and policies for tourism development while preserving traditional values.

In addition, the candidates expressed their determination to work alongside the province in implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

The focus is on three breakthrough areas: developing high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable development; promoting science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation as the main driving force; and maximizing the mobilization of investment resources in transportation infrastructure, urban areas, tourism, industrial parks, seaports, and digital technology.
At the same time, emphasis will be placed on breakthroughs in education and training development - the foundation for socio-economic and human development in Dak Lak.

The candidates also pledged that, if elected, they would maintain close contact with voters; regularly interact with, listen to, and honestly and fully reflect the thoughts and aspirations of the people to the National Assembly and competent authorities; monitor and urge the resolution of voters' petitions, contributing to strengthening the people's trust in the Party and the State.

At the conference, voters from the communes and wards in Electoral Unit No. 3 expressed their agreement and highly appreciated the political qualities, professional competence, work experience, and action programs of the candidates.

Many suggestions were made to the National Assembly and central agencies to pay more attention to specific mechanisms and policies for the province; to increase investment in transportation infrastructure, develop tourism in conjunction with cultural preservation; create more jobs, increase income and improve the lives of the people…
