Following the vote, Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court Nguyen Van Quang took the oath of office before the legislature, pledging loyalty to the country, people and Constitution; and committing to fulfilling the duties entrusted by the Party, State and people.

State President receives Chief Justice of Mongolia

State President Luong Cuong gave a reception in Hanoi on March 4 for Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Mongolia Ganzorig Damdin, during which he affirmed that Vietnam consistently attaches importance to, and wishes to continue strengthening the traditional friendship with Mongolia across all fields in line with the two sides’ capacities and needs.
Nguyen Van Quang elected as Chief Justice of Supreme People’s Court

With 440 out of 441 deputies present voting in favour, accounting for 92.83% of all deputies, the 15th National Assembly on November 10 adopted a resolution to elect Nguyen Van Quang, a member of the Party Central Committee, as Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court for the 2021–2026 tenure.
