Central Steering Committee for Foreign Affairs and International Integration established
The Politburo has decided to establish the Central Steering Committee for Foreign Affairs and International Integration, chaired by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and State President To Lam, under Decision No. 198-QD/TW dated June 10, 2026, with a total of 37 members.

Party General Secretary and State President Lam underscored the need for a new mindset that places judicial reforms within a unified rule-of-law framework: good law-making, strict law enforcement, an honest judiciary, safeguarded justice, controlled power, protected human and citizens’ rights, and national development supported by a transparent, effective and coherent institutional system.

Party General Secretary To Lam, who is also head of the Central Steering Committee for Prevention and Control of Corruption, Wastefulness and Negative Phenomena, chaired a conference in Hanoi on December 11 to evaluate the country’s anti-corruption combat throughout the 13th National Party Congress’s term.

Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu called for more aggressive action against wastefulness, including placing major loss-making projects under direct supervision of the Central Steering Committee on Prevention and Control of Corruption and Negative Phenomena to ensure focused and thorough settlement.
