An Giang: National Assembly candidates meet with voters in Hoa Hung and Hoa Thuan communes

On the morning of March 4th, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province organized a meeting between voters from Hoa Hung and Hoa Thuan communes and candidates for the 16th National Assembly, term 2026-2031, electoral unit No. 6.

The candidates for the 16th National Assembly, constituency No. 6, include: Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung, Director of the Department of Citizen Petitions and Supervision, Committee on Citizen Petitions and Supervision of the National Assembly; Ms. Ly Anh Thu, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of An Giang province; Ms. Le Thi Thuy Trang, Deputy Head of the Enterprise - Investment Cooperation Department, Department of Finance of An Giang province; Mr. Nguyen Phuong Tuan, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Science , Technology and Environment of the National Assembly; and Ms. Ho Hai Van, doctor of the Department of Neurology, An Giang General Hospital.

At the conference, voters heard brief biographies and action programs of the candidates for the 16th National Assembly, electoral district No. 6.

Voters in Hoa Hung and Hoa Thuan communes expressed their enthusiasm, trust, and high appreciation for the action programs of the candidates for the 16th National Assembly; they expect that if elected, the candidates will maintain regular contact with the locality, listen to the opinions of the people, and promptly reflect the legitimate suggestions and aspirations of the voters to the National Assembly and competent authorities.

Voters have requested increased investment in rural transportation infrastructure, especially on roads in disadvantaged hamlets, to facilitate travel and agricultural product transportation for residents and promote socio-economic development. In particular , voters have requested that relevant authorities implement measures to stabilize rice prices, helping farmers feel secure in their production and increase their income.
