Thailand urges helmet use amid rising motorcycle fatalities
Deputy DDC Director-General Dr. Anek Mungomklang added that 84% of motorcyclists hospitalised between 2020 and 2024 were not wearing helmets at the time of the accident. He emphasised that the number of motorcyclists not wearing helmets was eight times higher than those who did.

Vietnam recorded 7,853 traffic accidents nationwide from December 15 - May 14, resulting in 4,328 deaths and 5,307 injuries, a major decline from the previous year.
Economic losses from workplace accidents increase by 1 billion USD
Data from the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs on workplace accidents in 2024 revealed that last year, there were 8,286 workplace accidents across the country, an increase of 892 cases from 2023, resulting in 8,472 victims, an increase of 919 people.
